A rating is only as trustworthy as its sources. This page sets out where certification information comes from, how it is checked, how often it is refreshed, and what Crydd refuses to do to it.

01 / Where the facts come from
Where the facts come from
- Certification details
- Cost, exam format, duration, prerequisites, validity, and renewal rules are curated by hand from the provider's own official documentation and programme pages.
- Market signals
- Demand, growth, and salary context come from publicly available job-market reporting and labour-market data, read in aggregate rather than scraped from individual listings.
- Editorial judgment
- Market demand, career value, and industry recognition are ratings on a coarse scale, assigned by review. They are stated as judgments, because that is what they are.
Every certification page shows the date its facts were last verified, and links directly to the official page they came from so you can check them yourself.
02 / How the Crydd Score is produced
How the Crydd Score is produced
The score is computed, never typed in. A fixed engine takes the verified facts and the editorial ratings, applies published weightings, and returns a number together with the factors that produced it and a confidence level reflecting how much of the model is actually backed by data.
Where a signal has not been verified, the engine reports that factor as awaiting data rather than inventing a value. The Methodology page sets out each factor and what it measures.

- Exam retirements, price changes, and major revisions are prioritised and applied as soon as they are identified.
04 / What Crydd will not do
What Crydd will not do
- No pay-to-rank. Providers cannot buy placement, a better score, or a kinder verdict, and none has ever been offered the chance.
- No invented figures. If a fact is not published by the provider, the page says so instead of guessing a number.
- No fabricated demand statistics, review counts, or testimonials.
- No listing of retired or discontinued credentials as though they were current.
Crydd is independent of every certification provider it covers, and earns money only from optional Premium subscriptions paid by readers.
05 / Known limits
Known limits
Providers change prices and retire exams on their own schedule, sometimes without notice. Exam fees vary by country, currency, and testing centre, and the figure shown is the standard published fee unless stated otherwise. Where a detail could not be verified, the page says so rather than filling the gap.
Accuracy is the product. If a detail looks wrong or out of date, report it through the feedback form — corrections jump the queue ahead of routine review, and the last-verified date moves when they land.
