Who you are agreeing with

Crydd is a certification intelligence platform: it catalogues professional certifications, rates them, compares them, and helps people decide which one is worth their time and money. The service is Crydd, operated by Melvin Contreras, an individual sole proprietor based in the Philippines.

By creating an account or using the platform you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, you should not use Crydd. You can browse most of the catalog without an account, and that browsing is covered by these terms too.

Crydd is independent. It is not a certification body, an accreditor, a training provider, or an exam proctor, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any certification provider it catalogues.

02 / Your account

Your account

An account is free and optional. It exists so the platform can remember what you save, what you have completed, and what you are working toward.

• Provide accurate information, and keep your email address current — it is how we reach you about your account.
• Keep your password and any connected Google or GitHub sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One account per person. Do not share it, sell it, or let someone else use it.
• Accounts are for individuals. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use Crydd with a parent or guardian's involvement.
• Tell us promptly at legal@crydd.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard profile. Deletion is immediate and permanent, cancels any active subscription first, and removes the data described in the Privacy Policy.

What Crydd provides — and what it does not

Crydd provides curated certification information, an editorial rating (the Crydd Score), comparisons, career roadmaps, and — for signed-in users — personalised suggestions and an AI Career Advisor.

All of it is decision support. It helps you think; it does not decide for you, and it cannot promise a result.

Crydd does not guarantee that any certification will lead to a job, an interview, a promotion, a salary increase, or a passing exam result. Career outcomes depend on factors well outside this platform.

The AI Career Advisor generates guidance using an automated language model. Its output can be incomplete or wrong, and it is never a substitute for the official provider's documentation or for professional advice. The AI Disclaimer explains this in full.

04 / Certification providers are independent

Certification providers are independent

Every certification in the catalog belongs to the organisation that runs it — AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, PMI, Adobe, Autodesk, TESDA, and others. Those organisations set their own prices, prerequisites, exam formats, renewal rules, and terms, and they can change them without telling us.

• Always confirm cost, eligibility, and exam details on the provider's official page before you register or pay. Every certification page links to it.
• Crydd is not a party to your relationship with a provider and cannot register you, sit an exam for you, issue a credential, or resolve a dispute with them.
• Provider names and marks are used to identify the certifications being described. This does not imply any partnership or endorsement.

05 / Free accounts and Premium

Free accounts and Premium

The core of Crydd is free and stays free: browsing and searching the catalog, reading full certification profiles and Crydd Scores, comparing certifications, following career roadmaps, and saving and tracking your own certifications with a free account.

Premium is an optional paid subscription that adds deeper personalisation, including the AI-powered Certification Fit Score and expanded advisor guidance. Cancelling Premium never removes your account or your saved data — you return to the free tier and keep everything in it.

06 / Billing, renewal, and cancellation

Billing, renewal, and cancellation

Premium is priced by region: ₱250 per month or ₱2,800 per year in the Philippines, and US$8.99 per month or US$101 per year internationally. The pricing page always shows the price and currency that will actually be charged.

Free trial

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial with full Premium access. Cancel during the trial and you are charged nothing.

Automatic renewal

After the trial, plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, with no fee. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Payments

Handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Crydd never receives or stores your card details.

Price changes

If a price changes, the new rate applies from your next renewal, never mid-period, and we will tell you in advance by email.

All payments already made are final and are not refunded. That is precisely why every plan begins with a 7-day free trial: try the whole of Premium first, and cancel during the trial to pay nothing.

This does not affect any right to a remedy that Philippine consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement.

07 / Feedback and anything you submit

Feedback and anything you submit

Crydd includes a feedback form, and signed-in users can submit corrections, testimonials, and bug reports with optional screenshots.

• You keep ownership of what you submit.
• You give Crydd permission to store it, act on it, and use it to correct and improve the platform. If you submit a testimonial, you are agreeing that it may be published — we will never invent or edit one into something you did not say.
• Only submit material you have the right to submit. Do not include other people's personal data, confidential information, or anything unlawful.
• Screenshots are stored as files with our hosting provider; only their location and basic metadata are recorded in our database.

08 / Acceptable use

Acceptable use

The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms and describes what you may not do with Crydd — including bulk scraping, automated extraction of the catalog, circumventing rate limits or the Premium boundary, and submitting abusive content. Breaking it can cost you access.

09 / Intellectual property

Intellectual property

Crydd owns its editorial work — the written verdicts, the scoring methodology, the curation and arrangement of the catalog, the interface, and the code. Certification names and provider marks belong to their respective owners. The Copyright & Trademark notice sets out both sides, and how to send a takedown notice.

You may read, quote briefly with attribution, and share links. You may not copy the catalog wholesale, republish the editorial content as your own, or use it to build a competing dataset.

10 / Availability and changes

Availability and changes

Crydd is offered as it is and as it is available. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and features can change, move, or be withdrawn as the platform develops.

Certification information is reviewed on a published cadence and every certification page shows its last verified date. Even so, a provider can change a price or retire an exam the day after a review. Treat the official provider page as authoritative.

11 / Limits of liability

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Crydd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost income or opportunity, or for decisions you make on the basis of information on the platform — including exam fees paid for a certification that turned out not to suit you.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you actually paid Crydd in the twelve months before the claim. If you have only ever used the free tier, that amount is zero.

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct, or for anything that Philippine law does not permit to be excluded.

12 / Suspension and termination

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that is used to attack or degrade the service, or where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.

You may close your account at any time from your dashboard profile, for any reason or none.

13 / Changes to these terms

Changes to these terms

These terms have been in effect since 2026-07-20. If we make a change that materially affects your rights or obligations, we will publish the revised terms with a new effective date and, for account holders, give notice by email or in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use Crydd after that date means you accept the change.

14 / Governing law

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of the Republic of the Philippines. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove protections you have under the mandatory law of your own country.
